Bali through my eyes - Anas Rashid

Anas Rashid had a gala time enjoying his well-deserved vacation in Bali; he shares about his experience of exploring Bali with TellyBuzz...

Anas RashidAway from his hectic shooting schedule, the handsome hunk Anas Rashid who plays Suraj in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum, recently took an off from his shoot and  went to Bali along with his close friends. The hardworking actor very much enjoyed his well-deserved vacation there. TellyBuzz tries to find out from Anas about his travel experience in Bali.

Let's see what Anas has to share about it.

I found Bali an amazing place to visit - "It was a pre planned and an amazing trip. I was very keen to go out somewhere to chill out. I chose Bali because the Eastern Southern countries are very strong in terms of hospitality. They have a very rich culture and they lead a very nice life. They are fantastic people and the atmosphere there is very good. The people residing in Bali there treat their country like a home. They are thoroughly professional and lively people; I could not see any dirt or garbage lying in front of anybody's house. They are very creative people. I had a great fun being there."

It was a 7 days trip for Anas along with his friends and he shares about his first to last day's adventurous and exciting trip of Bali.

Day 1: On day 1, we visited the Leviyan area which is the most happening area on the beach. We stayed there for two days. The currency is quite unique. You will get the notes of 50 thousands, 20 thousands and 1 Lakh. So, it was quite fun for us to know their currency and we used to keep calculating the currency. We tasted very delicious sea food. After getting familiar with the people, food and the currency exchanging thing we left from there on day 3.

Anas RashidDay 3: We went to another area which is a very calm and a remote area. People of that area, keep a Maun Vrat in a year. We found a very nice resort there. We were supposed to stay there for 2 days but we found the place nice and we extended our plan to stay there from 2 days to 3 days. It was a very calm day.

Day 6: After staying there, we went to Leviyan area again on the last day from where, we shopped for handicraft stuff. It was our 6th day in Bali and we were back on the 7th day in Mumbai.

The people of Bali are very humble - "The way they treated me, made me feel as if I was Jamai (Son in law) for them. They are very fantastic and humble people and I get to learn a lot from there."

Anas RashidThe trip was adventurous too - "I experienced sea walking and I really liked it a lot. I also experienced paragliding and scuba diving."

People of Bali are fond of watching Bollywood movies - "People of Bali are crazy for Bollywood.  People would often sing filmy songs like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. They used to ask us whether are we from Bollywood or not and whether are we Bollywood actors or models? People used to address me saying Shah Rukh and Salman there. They watch Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's movies a lot. When we used to tell them that we are also a part of this industry then, with the help of Google they used to come to know about us very quickly and get all the information about us. Once we visited a restaurant and the owner of the restaurant went on to Google to know more about us and asked me about the show Diya Baati and what is all about?"

Next trip would be again Bali for me - "I am planning my next trip anytime soon and it will be again Bali because I would love to explore more of Bali."
