Cast: Nakuul Mehta, Archana Kavi, and Nishad Zaveri
Dice Media’s BAE Control is about Shyam (Mehta) and Vedika (Kavi), a couple that seeks therapy to ease out their relationship issues.
The therapist, however, feeds them pills through the water they drink and suggests an app called BAE control, which allows one to control their partner’s four emotions: Love, Happiness, Anger, and Confidence. Shyam and Vedika start taking the pills and using the app on a trial basis to see whether this ‘different’ kind of therapy is fruitful for their flawed relationship or not.
Nakuul Mehta as a distressed boyfriend once again proves his versatility with Shyam. The actor played an understanding brother and doting father in Ved Arya and yet again Nakuul has impressed us with his performance. Archana Kavi as Vedika could be seen trying hard to portray the character of an intellectual girlfriend who is trying her best to save her relationship but her performance could have been better.
The mini-series deserves full marks for the unique concept. The story is decent and worth the watch and Nakuul’s character adds grace to sci-fi romantic drama. I would suggest all the new age couples to give the series a shot.
