Baa Bahu Aur Baby in for commemoration...

J.D. Majethia's Baa Bahu Aur Baby is in for some celebration as the show completes 500 episodes in the coming weeks. The weekend Star Plus show, produced by Hats Off Production has gained lots of popularity amongst viewers, and have been delivering good numbers for the channel..

"We are happy as it's the longest running fiction show going on in the weekend slot. There had been fantasy based reality shows, but never a fiction in the weekend slot in any channel. I feel proud as its an original concept," says Aatish Kapadia, Director and Co-Producer of the show.

"It feels good that we have come a long way. Another reason for happiness is that I'm a hit with the show too," says Sarita Joshi who essays the character of Baa. 

Talking about the popularity of the show she adds, "People still notice me as Baa and hearing that makes me feel content. It's great to be associated with the show. We know that audience eagerly wait for our show to come on weekends."

"Even in our show is very popular. I recently visited the place for Gold Awardsand realized it. The credit for the success of the serial goes to entire team and viewers," she quips.

As we talked to Baby aka Benaf she states, "It's been an amazing journey for all of us and today we are happy that the show is completing its 500 episodes."

When asked about the memorable moment she verbalizes, "It was Baby's birthday bash where Gattu and other members gave her a huge card. I was happy as this bash was near my birthday too. I remember cutting 17 cakes in that whole month."

Whereas Baa avers, "It was my first shot where early in the morning, I pray to God and everybody is busy getting ready for their daily schedule. I have always started my work by thanking God and incidentally my first shot in the show was same. I will always pray for the success of the show."

Recently there had been some problems regarding the time slot of the show. On this our co producer Aatish adds, "There had been erratic time slots, but things will be sorted out soon. We are in talk with thechannel for the same."

Talking on the story line our source chirps, "In the coming episodes the engagement of Baby will take place with Birju (Amit Verma). For now, that's the only high point."

So let's see whether justice is done to this very popular show or not?
