However, no one can deny that the actress became a household name due to her long running role as Akshara in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

It was also the same character that earned her a humongous fan following and there will always be a section of fans who become the masters of trivia concerning her role in the show.

Just because a celebrity endorses a product doesn't mean its all that good. They get paid to do this. Its better for the consumer to investigate and look into the product and see if it would be a fit for them. Then indulge in buying the product!
