Awake from a deep slumber, Aman Verma is back

Aman Verma, the heartthrob of millions of female fans belonging to various age groups is back in action again and that too cast opposite Smriti Irani. Yes, he has woken up from his deep slumber literally. Zee TV viewers can rejoice as their hero is back as Vrinda Maasi’s husband Sumit in the popular daily soap – Teen Bahuraniyaan.

While he is busy catching up the years in the serial, we decided to catch up with Aman Verma, the actor himself, who plays the character of Sumit.

Talking about his role, Aman Verma says, “I am playing a very strong role. My character's name is Sumit, Vrinda's husband who was in coma for the last 4 years. Though he has now recovered from that stage, he is still not aware of the time and about the family and all the incidents that happened in last 4 years. My role is all about how he reacts to the present situation".

When inquired more about the character and if we see him again doing a grey role, Aman gives more insight into it. “No, Sumit is not a negative character. His behavior is more you can say situational. Only because of the situations, he becomes hyper.”

He has been cast opposite Smriti after a long time. They had become quite a popular Jodi after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. So how does it feel working with Smriti again? “It is nice working with her. Nothing has changed, it's the same experience when I was working with her in Kyunki,” comes his candid reply.

Aman fans and Teen Bahuraniyaan viewers have something to look forward to with Smriti-Aman Jodi being back in action. While the track takes interesting twists and turns, we await to see if this Vrinda-Sumit Jodi can recreate the same magic we had seen earlier in Kyunki.
