Avinash Mishra lauds Mahira Khan for standing by Pakistan, lashes out at Indian celebs: 'Gaddar bann rakhe..'

Television actor and Bigg Boss 18 fame Avinash Mishra has once again lashed out at Indian actors who have refrained from commenting on the Operation Sindoor in the fear of 'losing their followers.'

Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor begins his note by slamming Pakistani actress Mahira Khan for her recent comments on Operation Sindoor. Mahira who stated that her country Pakistan has been blamed without any evidence. Sharing the said note, Avinash states that evidence has been seen by the world. He writes, ''O Mahira didi Pakistan ko blame karne ki jarurat nahi hai hume, evidence pure world ne dekh liye hai, Bas ab mahool theek hone ke baad hamare BHARAT me kaam maangne mat aajana.''

The Bigg Boss 18 fame then goes ahead to laud the actress for taking a stand fir her country and slams Indian actors for not doing the same in the fear of losing their Pakistani fan base. ''But kudos apne country ki side lene ke liye. Yaha kuch celebs apne reach aur follower count me gaddar ban rkhe hai. But tension nahi baad me unka number bhi lagega,'' Avinash further writes.

Well, this is not the first time the actor has slammed Indian celebs for not voicing their stands. Earlier, on the 8th of May, taking to his Instagram stories, Avinash wrote: Celebrities from across the border—who built their fame on Indian audiences—now calling India’s action against terrorism ‘shameful’ and ‘cowardly’ is the height of hypocrisy. Where are our celebrities now? If you can’t speak up for your country just to protect your ‘brand’ or follower count, don’t ever pretend to represent India. Silence isn’t neutral. It’s cowardice.

While he has not named any actor, several popular names including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, have not made any public comments on the operation and Avinash’s comments may have been directed towards them too.

Operation Sindoor was launched by India as a targeted strike against terror infrastructure in Pakistan. The action came days after an ambush in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 Indian soldiers were killed. A lot of Pakistani celebrities have apparently slammed the attack and have called it cowardly.

While some Indian celebrities have publicly supported the government and the armed forces, Mishra’s post reflects growing criticism of those who have chosen not to address the issue.
