Avanti is the urban version of Laajo!: Sana Amin Sheikh

Laajo of Gustakh Dil, Sana Amin Sheikh had already spread her charm amongst the family audience with her looks to die for, sparkling smile and her enigmatic personality. While she now woos the teenagers with her performance in Million Dollar Girl, we speak to her in a candid interview with Indiaforums.com.

Now in her late 20's, she is glad to have an opportunity to portray a 20 something on the show.

She said, "Post Gustakh Dil, I had a couple of offers for daily soaps but when I received a call from the production house to do this show, I gave up all the offers and chose this one. The reason is - Madhura Rapsang - the creative director of the show with whom I share a great bond. "

Elaborating further on essaying Avanti, she says, "I have no hiccups playing a teenager. The character of Avanti is completely opposite to Laajo. For a matter of fact, essaying a teenager is an actor's delight as one does not have to make an effort to portray the character. Also, I do not find it to be a run of the mill show."

While Sana charmed the viewers as Laajo, we asked her if she found anything similar to her character now from the previous one.

She laughed stating, "Ahh..Avanti's lingo and thoughts and mannerisms are very different from Laajo. I can say that Avanti is the urban version of Laajo!"
