Genelia and Asin, the two latest sensations of Bollywood are now at war over the South Indian Orange soft drinks market. Whilst Ghajini gal Asin has been linked with Mirinda for three years, JTYJN's lovable 'Meow' aka Genelia is the latest brand ambassador for Fanta.
But it's the Tamilnadu account that both girls are after. The company alone accounts for a quarter Indian Soft drink market for Orange.Now with the rivalry between PepsiCo and Coca Cola India heating up, this may just be the account that puts one of them way ahead of the game.
A Chennai based brand consultant has said, "Asin and Genelia are big in Bollywood today after Ghajini and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na respectively. They have already become national brand ambassadors for their respective brands.
