Ashok Lokhande felicitated!

Versatile actor Ashok Lokhande, who is currently seen playing a very prominent role in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus, is honored to receive a very prestigious award from the state government.

Ashok has bagged the Maharashtra State Film Award for the best actor of the year for his role in the Marathi movie Yashwant Rao Chavan. He was nominated along with eminent actors Sachin Khedekar and Dilip Prabhawalkar. Popular actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar presented the award to him.

Sharing his happiness of winning the award, Ashok shares, "It's a great feeling to receive this award for my very first Marathi movie. My Mother, wife and daughter were present yesterday at the event and they were very happy to see me receiving this award."
