Ashish Chanchlani and Elli AvrRam sparked romance rumors after sharing a steamy pic on social media with the caption "finally". However, it was later clarified that the photo was just a promotional stunt for their new music video, Chandaniya. To set the record straight, Ashish and Elli went live on Instagram, apologizing to their fans for the confusion and expressing surprise at how quickly the rumors spread. "We didn't expect it to get so big," they admitted, reassuring fans that they're just collaborators and not a couple.

“Elli and I wanted to thank you all for the love you’ve shown for Chandaniya," Ashish said, as quoted by Indian Express. Following this, Elli continued by saying, “And to all the congratulatory messages." “It actually felt really good to see all those sweet messages," she added.

“Elli’s parents knew the truth. But apart from them, so many people congratulated us," Ashish shared. Elli then revealed how she handled the reaction “I didn’t know what to say. But it did feel nice — it shows we have so many well-wishers."

She then clarified, “We are not dating." Ashish also jokingly added, “I can never date this person. Mujhe pagal kutte ne nahi kata hai (I haven’t gone mad)." He then revealed that working with Elli is “extremely difficult".

Elli further explained, “It wasn’t a prank. Our caption ‘Finally’ referred to the release of our song. What people assumed is beyond our control."

Ashish also added, “It blew up once media houses picked it up. My original thought was, ‘Let’s prank,’ because my followers are used to my jokes. But we didn’t expect it to get this big. It took us two days to realise how far it had gone. My mom’s friend even called to say, ‘Don’t send sweets, I’m not at home.’ That’s when we knew we had to burst the bubble."

Ashish Chanchlani is known for his humorous videos and parodies. His comedic sketches and character portrayals have garnered significant recognition on social media, leading to collaborations with other prominent comedians and a large YouTube following.

Professionally, Ashish is focused on his upcoming project, Ekaki, a series that diverges from his usual comedic style, offering a blend of horror and comedy.

Elli AvrRam, a Swedish-Greek actress based in Mumbai, gained recognition in India after her participation in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013. She has also appeared in films such as Mickey Virus, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Naam Shabana, and Goodbye.
