Arshad Warsi's wife completes 'half marathon'

Maria Goretti, Arshad's wife, went on to participate in the half marathon category of Mumbai Marathon 2016 for the first time and completed it.

Actor Arshad Warsi's wife Maria Goretti, who is known for her anchoring, acting and cooking skills, has added another feather to her cap. She went on to participate in the half marathon category of Mumbai Marathon 2016 for the first time and completed it.

Maria shared on Instagram a text message which read: "Dear Maria Warsi, congratulations! You have finished your Half Marathon run in 02:12:56."

Arshad took to Twitter on Sunday to congratulate her.

"So my rock star wife, after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, being a certified deep sea diver, is now a marathon runner. Well done @mariagorettiz," Arshad tweeted.

"VJ, actor, chef, author, mountain climber, deep sea diver, marathon runner, wife, mother, friend. That's @mariagorettiz for you," he added.

The couple got married in February 1999.
