Arshad Warsi flies to Chandigarh to shoot for upcoming film ‘Banda Singh’

Arshad Warsi was most recently seen in Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon's 'Bachchhan Paandey.' The film was released in theatres, but had a low box office performance. Arshad is currently preparing to start shooting his next film, 'Banda Singh.' 

Arshad will be seen wearing a turban in 'Banda Singh.' The actor was spotted at the airport on Tuesday en route to Chandigarh, where the filming for the film will begin. 

Previously, a statement revealed that 'Banda Singh' is a true-life survival story about a man and his family set in North India. Abhishek Saxena is the executive director of the film. Saxena, who was overjoyed at the prospect of the project, had stated, He had been looking for a script like this for a long time to direct, as his previous two films, Phullu and Saroj Ka Rishta, dealt with social issues, whereas Banda Singh is about survival. He’s thrilled to join Arshad, Meher, and the rest of the cast on set.

Arshad will appear alongside actress Meher Vij in the film.
