Arjit Taneja tests positive for coronavirus: Followed all safety guidelines, but it is what it is

Coronavirus has been increased once again and many actors have tested positive for the virus. Everyone has been taken the necessary precautions that have been multiple cases of actors along with crew members and produces testing positive for coronavirus in 2021 as the new wave has hit the country. Recent names to have tested positive for the virus include the likes of Rupali Ganguly, Nidhi Shah, Kanchi Singh, etc. And now the latest actor to have contracted the virus is Arjit Taneja and he said the same on his social media.

He wrote, "Unfortunately I have tested positive for Covid-19. I am under home quarantine and following or necessary protocols. Followed all safety guidelines, but it is what it is. If you have come in contact with me please get tested - for yourself and those around you. The virus is real and it is spreading, don't let your guard down. (I kind of did)"

The actor rose to fame with the popular show Kumkum Bhagya. Later, he went on to do shows like Kaleerein, Bahu Begum, among others. Arjit was last seen in Naagin 5 and he did receive a lot of love for his role in the show given that it had multiple popular faces. In fact, the actor also went on to reveal that one of the reasons he took up the show was because of the cast that it boasts of.
