Netflix might have had a hit-and-miss record so far with its shows and films from India so far, but the hits have indeed been quite the ones to watch indeed.

In the past year, one of the surprise successes for the streamer was Masaba Masaba which was a semi auto-biographical, semi-fictional drama series based on the life of Masaba Gupta. As we know, it is written and directed by Sonam Nair and is produced by Ashvini Yardi's Viniyard Films. It stars Masaba Gupta and her mother, Neena Gupta, playing themselves. The series premiered on Netflix on 28 August 2020.

Now the show is all set to return with a second season and while there was an array of big names in the first season itself, the second season will have some more cameos happening.

Actor Arjan Bajwa has been reportedly roped in to play a significant role in the show. Bajwa has been on the tube for a long time now and was recently seen in the web show, State OF Siege 26/11.
