Arham Abbasi on completion one year with 'Imlie'

While the Star Plus show Imlie continues to rake in the big numbers, it completed a year of runtime only back in November 2021. But there have been a few actors who came in late or joined the show late depending on their characters.

And now, it is actor Arham Abbasi, who plays the role of Nishant completes one year with the show. As known already, he plays Aditya's brother, who has returned from abroad. He is seen as a family man, who would go to all lengths to support his brother and sister-in-law.

Talking about the journey with ETimes TV, Abbasi said, “This character has been the most distinguished one of all the roles I have played so far. With such amazing co stars and team, this one year has been a phenomenal experience for me with many more milestones to achieve in the upcoming episodes as the story unfolds into new and exciting turns. When I started the show, my track began with Nishant’s return to India while he was suffering from Leukemia. Later, Nishant became a part of multiple plot lines including his own wedding and many more. There have been so many ups and downs in the show in this one year. I have made amazing friendships for life here as everyone is so supportive and we all are just like a real family.”

When asked as to who is closest to him, he said, “All of my co-stars are amazing, it’s a very tough choice to name only a single one. I share an amazing bond with Gaurav Mukesh as I have worked with him earlier as well.”

Imlie recently the saw the departure of leading man Gashmeer Mahajani where Manasvi Vashisht replaced him as the new Aditya.
