Apurva Agnihotri to return in positive light in 'Meri Durga'

Apurva Agnihotri who was last seen in Meri Durga while portraying the character of a coach who was not very fond of Durga is now making a comeback in the show. But this time in a character where he will be seen helping Durga's family.

The producers of the show, Pradeep Kumar and Ravindra Gautam are very excited to have popular television actor, Apurva Agnihotri back on the show. The story traces the journey of a girl (Durga) who aspires to become a runner. It revolves around the most beautiful and sensitive relationship of a father and his daughter. His only dream is to fight against all the odds and educate his daughter, Durga for a better future.

When asked, Producer Pradeep Kumar says, "We are very excited to have an actor like Apurva Agnihotri back on our show, it is always very nice to work with professional actors like Apurva. We wanted to make a few changes in the show, so we thought of bringing in Apurva's character back with a little twist."

Actor Apurva Agnihotri says, "Although this show started as a cameo for me and my track ended within few days. I am glad about making a come back to the show as I am truly fond of the team and the character, and what I like the most about the show is the premise, which is being a sports based show which you seldom come across on TV so coming back to this makes me really happy and glad!"
