Aparshakti Khurana Shares Disheartening Experience of Being Left Out at a Film’s Trailer Launch

Aparshakti Khurana recently shared a disappointing incident where he traveled from Amritsar to Mumbai for a film’s trailer launch, expecting a special introduction. However, he was informed at the last minute that he wouldn’t be invited on stage with the lead cast, leaving him feeling sidelined.

In a video interview with Lallantop, Aparshakti revealed that he was assured of a separate introduction. But after waiting for nearly 15–20 minutes, the event ended, and he never got the chance to go on stage. His revelation has now sparked discussions about how supporting actors are often overlooked in Bollywood.

Based on his past projects, many speculate that the incident could have taken place during the trailer launch of Luka Chuppi, starring Kartik Aaryan, or Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. However, Aparshakti chose not to reveal any names or details about the film. His experience highlights the ongoing issue of how supporting actors, despite playing crucial roles, do not always receive equal recognition in the industry.

Social media users have reacted strongly, with some expressing disappointment over the treatment of talented actors who contribute significantly to films. Many pointed out that this reflects a larger issue in Bollywood, where lead actors often take the spotlight, leaving supporting actors underappreciated.

On the professional front, Aparshakti was last seen in the thriller Berlin alongside Ishwak Singh and Rahul Bose, which premiered on Zee5. He also lent his voice for Ananya Panday’s cyber-thriller CTRL. Up next, he will be seen in the comedy-drama Badtameez Gill alongside Vaani Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. Reports suggest that Aparshakti is also in talks for other upcoming projects, continuing to establish his place in the industry despite such setbacks.
