Anushka Sharma shares an adorable picture of her daughter Vamika, Ranveer Singh goes 'oh-lay'

On Wednesday, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share a new photo with her daughter Vamika. She was pictured cuddling with her eight-month-old daughter. 

“Making me braver and more courageous every day . May you always find the strength of the goddess in you my little Vamika. Happy Ashtami" she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

Anushka rarely shares photos of Vamika, so her post received a lot of love and compliments from her friends and fans. 'Oh-lay,' Ranveer Singh wrote, accompanied by a slew of heart-eyes and heart emojis. Priyanka Chopra also commented with a heart emoji and an evil eye. 

They all appeared together in Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do. Tahira Kashyap, Athiya Shetty, Vaani Kapoor, and Sania Mirza also commented on the post with emojis. 

Vamika was born in the month of January. Anushka and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli had asked the media not to share or publish any pictures or videos of her when she was born. They have also avoided posting Vamika's face on social media. 

Anushka revealed her name in a post in February, writing, "We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika. has taken it to a whole new level! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are so full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy”.

This year, Virat spent a few months in London for his cricket tour, and Anushka and Vamika accompanied him. They also had a picnic in the park to celebrate Vamika's six-month birthday. "Her one smile can change our whole world around! I hope we can both live up to the love with which you look at us, little one. Happy 6 months to us three," Anushka wrote, sharing a slew of photos from the festivities. 

Anushka is now back in Mumbai and working on a number of commercials. Her next film has yet to be announced.
