Anupamaa’s Adrija Roy reacts on thoughts of ‘job security’ with the show: ‘Mere sath bhi kuch..’

Adrija Roy, who has currently been roped in to essay the character of Raahi, replacing Alisha Parveen on the show recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums, where we discussed the topic of ‘job security’ with her. Given the number of over night replacements on the show, we asked Adrija if the thought of ‘job security’ crossed her mind before deciding to say yes to Anupamaa.

Speaking about the same, Adrija says, “I honestly did not think so much. Mere liye ye show and DKP is very important. Maine itna kuch socha nahi hai. Main agar apna kaam hundred percent de ke karungi toh definitely it will work for me aur agar nahi karungi toh mere sath bhi kuch ho sakta hai. Mujhe apna kaam 100 percent de ke karna hai ab aage kya hoga ye toh mere hath mein nahi hai,. Ye toh channel aur inhouse ke hath mein hona hai.”

“Main toh negative sochna bhi nahi chahti hoon, main negative waise bhi nahi sochti. Isse pehle bhi maine jitne bhi shows kiye hai mujhe bahut positivity mili hai aur abhi bhi mil rahi hai abhi it is just my third day. I just want to stay positive and do not want any sort of negativity, ab dekhte hai,” Adrija concludes.

For the uninformed, Alisha Parveen, who earlier essayed the character of Raahi on the show was replaced citing ‘performance issues.’ Adrija is paired opposite Shivam Khajuria in Anupamaa.
