In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) plays the shank, and Choti inquires about Anuj and Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) about conducting Diwali puja. Anupama defers to her Dadi, prompting Malti Devi to take charge. Vanraj leads the puja at the Shah house, while Anuj and Anupama follow Malti Devi. Anupama expresses a heartfelt prayer for global well-being, emphasising that celebrating Diwali should extend beyond borders. Vanraj surprises Baa and Babu ji with a rehab centre brochure, explaining his intention to become fully healthy to support them. Tensions rise as Baa questions who will care for Kavya in his absence.

Anuj and Anupama illuminate diyas in the dance academy, sharing a moment reminiscent of previous Diwalis. Dimple, observing them, becomes emotional and departs from there to join in lighting Diya. Tapish arrives unexpectedly, offering help, and when Dimple stumbles, he supports her. A sentimental connection between Tapish and Dimple begins to unfold.

The following day, Baa expresses concern for Babu ji's health and Vanraj's well-being. Toshu and Kinjal bring sweets and masala, and preparations for a meal are underway with Anupama, Anuj, Ankush, and Romil. Malti Devi arrives there, sees the four of them engaged in culinary activity, and departs from there looking distressed. Romil questions Malti Devi's behaviour, but Anupama chooses not to engage in unnecessary conflicts.

Meanwhile, Pakhi discovers a gift for Dimple and questions Adhik's priorities. An argument ensues, with Pakhi insensitively labelling Dimple as a widow. Anupama, overhearing, urges Pakhi to refrain from using such a term and insists that she shouldn't label Dimple that way. Pakhi argues that she's speaking the truth, asserting that widows don't wear certain things. Adhik intervenes, asking Pakhi to stop. Pakhi defends her right to freedom of speech, likening a married woman to a "suhaagan" and equating a widow to a widow.

Anupama draws a poignant parallel, questioning Pakhi's reaction if an outsider were to label her barren, emphasising such words' emotional impact. Pakhi expresses feeling hurt, but Anupama asserts that only a psychiatrist can help her understand. Anupama emphasises that Dimple deserves to live her life like any other young woman and implores Pakhi not to shatter someone's heart before leaving. Adhik suggests that Pakhi seriously consider seeking help from a psychiatrist. Dimple, struggling with a door, is assisted by Tapish, leading to a confrontation with Baa.

Precap: Baa accuses Dimple of hasty decisions, and Dimple defends her innocence. An emotional rift emerges, causing Baa to faint.
