Anupamaa: The Kotharis' lunch invitation takes a dramatic turn when Anupama's divorce becomes the hot topic

Anupamaa takes an intriguing turn post-leap with the introduction of new characters like Spreha Chatterjee, Shivam Khajuria, and Adrija Roy. The narrative further intensifies with the entry of the affluent Kothari family, whose dark past drove Prem to sever ties with them and harbour deep resentment. The drama escalates when Parag confronts Anupamaa, leading her to uncover Prem's hidden connection with the Kotharis. This revelation triggers a heated exchange, culminating in Anupamaa slapping Prem, leaving everyone in shock.

While Prem tries to defend himself, Rahi ends their relationship and asks him to leave the house. The story takes another twist as the Kotharis visit the Shahs, seeking forgiveness and proposing Rahi's marriage to Prem. Though Anupamaa and Rahi are given time to decide, the Kotharis' real agenda becomes evident—they are determined to bring Prem back into their fold, no matter what.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, the Shah family, dressed in lavish attire, gets ready for their lunch at the Kotharis and takes the car ride sent by them. As the family gathers, Khyati welcomes them with a traditional aarti for Prem and Rahi. Moti Baa, Vasundhara remarks that it's a special occasion since Prem is visiting hom for the first time with his love. Just before Moti Baa prepares to embrace him emotionally, Anupama catches Prem's attention by slipping and falling. Concerned, Prem asks Anupama if she's alright and insists she show him her leg, which causes a wave of jealousy and anger in Parag and Moti Baa.
