Anupamaa: Sonu's father encounters Vanraj and Anupama

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anuj gazes at Anupama while she's preparing food in the kitchen. Anuj expresses his concern for Dimple's well-being, and Anupama sadly acknowledges that she's not doing well, but she must learn to live without Samar. Anupama calls Choti and instructs her to prepare for school, offering to help her tie her hair. Anuj opens up about his feelings regarding Samar's death, explaining that he knows the pain of losing a child, having experienced it when Choti was lost. He expresses his desire to share this pain with Anupama but regrets that he cannot. He apologizes for his inability to save Samar and implores Anupama not to leave him. Anupama assures Anuj that she will prepare Choti's lunch, and Anuj inquires about her destination. Anupama reveals her intention to go to the police station.

Anuj offers to accompany her, emphasizing that he doesn't want her to be alone. Anupama, determined to seek justice for her son, states that she has sworn to bring her son's murderer to justice. Anuj expresses his support and concern. Anupama insists on walking this path with a person she does not wish to be associated with. Anuj appears upset.

Meanwhile, Vanraj informs Baa that he's heading to the police station to ensure the man released on bail doesn't roam free. Pakhi and Kinjal express their strong feelings about the person responsible for Samar's death. Anupama arrives and calls Vanraj to join her. Babu ji inquires about Anuj, but Anupama remains silent. Vanraj states that they'll be back, and they leave the house.

As they step outside, they encounter a man exiting a car, who introduces himself as Sonu's father and requests to meet Anupama and Vanraj Shah. Anupama and Vanraj confirm their identities. Sonu, his son, emerges from the car, and the father berates him for his actions, demanding he apologize by touching Anupama and Vanraj's feet. However, Anupama and Vanraj move away.

Suresh, Sonu's father, acknowledges his son's wrongdoing, but Anupama and Vanraj categorically declare it a crime, not a mere mistake. They express their determination to ensure justice is served. Suresh, in remorse, explains how Sonu is their only child, conceived after much prayer and ritual, but they won't punish God; instead, he promises to discipline his son. He offers to remove Sonu's privileges, including his car, credit card, and even air conditioning. He urges Anupama and Vanraj to withdraw their complaint, citing the difficulties of legal proceedings and the impact on their large family. He even offers them a top-floor apartment as compensation. Anupama questions if he would exchange his son for theirs, and Vanraj asks if the deal is sealed. This leads to a heated argument with both sides shouting. Vanraj firmly states that they won't need to strip Sonu of his belongings, as the government will take care of that when they suspend his phone and car privileges.

Precap: Sonu's family visits the Shah household and warns of potential regret. Anupama and Vanraj challenge that Sonu will be held accountable, and Anuj offers support. Anupama declares that she doesn't need his support. Meanwhile, an auto driver threatens Kavya to persuade Vanraj to drop the case against Sonu, or she will face consequences. Kavya falls from the auto and cries out in distress.
