Anupamaa: Shruti decides to call off the wedding; Dimple forces Tapish to marry Pakhi

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) inquires of Shruti (Sukirti Kandpal) whether she desires to comprehend what actions she took to win Anuj's (Gaurav Khanna) affection akin to her own. She asks if Shruti wants to transform "like" into "love" by going the extra mile. However, she asks her not to become another Anupama. She recounts her own experience of neglecting her own needs while striving to meet others' expectations, emphasizing the importance of self-preservation. Despite her efforts, she laments that her actions often went unnoticed, overshadowed by perceived shortcomings. Nevertheless, she reassures Shruti of Anuj's sincerity and capacity to bring happiness.

Dimple confronts Tapish:

Dimple (Nishi Saxena), overcome with emotion, revisits the hurtful words exchanged with Pakhi. Pakhi's determination to pursue Tapish fuels Dimple's distress. Meanwhile, she receives a message from Tapish, prompting her to give a shocking reply to him. Shruti, sensing Anupama's distress, extends an apology, cherishing their newfound friendship. Anupama consoles Shruti, advising her to relinquish control over life's uncertainties and urging careful consideration before making life-altering decisions. Their exchange concludes with mutual expressions of care and apology.

Tapish confronts Dimple about her sudden meeting request, while Yashdeep attempts to lighten the atmosphere. Anupama, however, openly acknowledges her struggle to mask her emotions with false cheerfulness. Tapish probes Dimple about her intentions concerning Pakhi, leading to a heated exchange. Despite his anger, prompting him to storm out, Dimple intervenes to prevent his departure.

Meanwhile, Vanraj expresses frustration over Tapish's increasing involvement in the family business before leaving. The family then deliberates Tapish's proposal and Dimple's response. Concerned that Pakhi might reveal sensitive information to Vanraj, Kavya rushes to intercept him.

On another front, Dimple pressures Tapish to consider marrying Pakhi, urging him to prioritize the one who loves him rather than the one he loves. Tapish questions whether Dimple reciprocates his feelings, prompting Pakhi to consider revealing the truth to Vanraj. However, Kavya interrupts by pretending to sustain an injury.

Shruti decides to call the wedding:

Anupama expresses gratitude towards Yashdeep for his support and reflects on their intertwined lives. Shruti reveals her intention to meet Anupama, explaining that she felt a tumult within and sought clarity on Anupama's lingering feelings for Anuj. Anuj, confident in his knowledge of the situation, inquires if Shruti has found her answers. She affirms silently. Consequently, Shruti proposes calling off the marriage, asserting that love and marriage require the alignment of hearts, which she believes is not the case with Anuj's heart still belonging to Anupama. Anuj, acknowledging his commitment to Aadhya, insists on proceeding with the marriage. However, Shruti asserts that marriage shouldn't be born out of obligation, disclosing her plan to postpone and eventually cancel the marriage. Anuj questions Shruti for taking this decision. Shruti, firm in her resolve, declares her intention to depart. Meanwhile, Yashdeep hands Anupama an envelope containing her hard-earned money.
