In the latest episode of Anupamaa, the story takes a serious turn as Anupamaa draws a parallel between the mythological figure Bhagirath and the everyday experiences of women. She talks about how women often make quiet sacrifices in their lives, especially when it comes to motherhood. Her statement is not well received by Vasundhara, who feels that such views are disruptive and damaging to the family’s values. This disagreement sets off tension in the household.

Prarthana steps in to support Anupamaa, making it clear that she agrees with her perspective. She then reveals her decision to end her relationship with Gautam. Gautam, caught off guard, tries to persuade her to reconsider, but Prarthana remains firm.
