Anupamaa: Prarthana refuses to live with Gautam anymore, sends divorce papers

Tonight's episode begins with Prem complimenting both Rahi and Anupama, saying they look stunning. Anupama praises the beautifully done decorations, prompting Prem to credit Rahi for the setup. Rahi, in turn, attributes the credit to Prem.

However, a playful argument ensues between Rahi and Prem. Seeing the two bicker, Anupama decides to step away and check on the catering arrangements, asking them to stop their banter. Prem then jokingly reminds Rahi about their ongoing challenge, to which Rahi confidently declares that he is bound to lose.

Meanwhile, Meeta questions Moti Baa about summoning the ladies. Moti Baa responds that she did it reluctantly. Meeta, anxious, wonders whether Raghav will show up. Moti Baa expresses concern that Anupama's actions might lead to embarrassment for the family.

Later, the visiting women pass comments about Rahi and Mahi, mocking their adoption. Anupama calmly asserts that both Rahi and Mahi are her daughters and invites the guests to enjoy the food instead of stirring drama.

Elsewhere, Leela and Moti Baa clash over saree choices, one favouring simplicity, the other luxury. Parag and Hasmuk step in to defuse the rising tension. Meanwhile, Gautam makes Prarthana uncomfortable with his presence. Ansh intervenes, sensing Prarthana's discomfort. Gautam retaliates by accusing Ansh of having an affair with Prarthana and insists he should keep his distance. He adds that he's planning to take Prarthana to London with him.

On another front, Rahi becomes suspicious of Raghav and Anupama and decides to keep a watchful eye. At the same time, Raghav finds it difficult to enter the Kothari home. Anupama gently encourages him, reminding him that he has nothing to be ashamed of and that he has every right to be there.

As Moti Baa instructs everyone to begin the ceremony, Rahi looks around for Anupama. She soon enters with Raghav by her side. The ladies question Moti Baa about Raghav's presence. Anupama steps in and clarifies that Raghav is not a criminal, as Pankhuri is still alive.

Later, Khyati feels joyful seeing Mahi and Rahi together. Anupama advises Khyati to be forgiving if the girls make mistakes. Khyati responds warmly, affirming that Mahi and Rahi are like her own daughters.

Mahi playfully challenges Aryan to apply mehendi on her hands. The mood lightens as the Shahs and Kotharis come together and dance in celebration.

The mehendi festivities for Aryan and Mahi kick off with great energy. Moti Baa notices Anupama having a conversation with Raghav. Meanwhile, Rahi and Prem complete their challenge. The episode features a vibrant sangeet competition between the Shah and Kothari families, filled with dance and cheer. Amidst the joy, Anupama silently wishes for peace and happiness for everyone.

Suddenly, the mood shifts when Gautam announces that Prarthana has sent him divorce papers. Moti Baa confronts Prarthana in front of everyone. Anupama steps in, trying to mediate, but Moti Baa accuses her of pushing Prarthana towards this decision. Anupama firmly states that she only supported Prarthana because no one in the family was willing to understand her.

Parag then confronts Prarthana, demanding answers. Prarthana speaks up, explaining that she had tried multiple times to express her feelings, but her voice was constantly ignored. She bravely reminds the Kothari family that she had earlier tried to speak up about the abuse she suffered at Gautam's hands. His violence and cruelty were no secret. Yet, despite knowing everything, the family continues to pressure her into going to London with him. Prathana questions their selective empathy. If they can recognise Gautam's anger, why do they fail to acknowledge her pain? Emotionally overwhelmed, Prarthana expresses her helplessness, wondering what more she must endure, should she leave the house in desperation, or end her life?
