Anupamaa: Meenu stands up for Sagar against Vanraj

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) talks about the sacrifices parents make for their children but admits he couldn't let go of his own desires. He pleads with Aadhya to return and feels remorseful for hurting her. Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) feels she's losing everything and confesses to Anuj that she needs him in her life. Anuj, feeling unable to die, tells Anupama to stay away, blaming both of them for Aadhya's situation.

Leela calls the Shahs together for a meal and asks for Meenu. Vanraj advises Meenu not to be upset over Sagar. Toshu and Pakhi criticise Meenu, who defends herself by saying poverty doesn't equate to being wrong. Vanraj warns Meenu to stop emulating Anupama. Despite this, Meenu praises Anupama, and Vanraj insists they must keep an eye on her. The police then arrive at the Shah house.

Meenu steps in to defend Sagar:

Sagar expresses his gratitude to the Aasha Bhawan members for their support. Anupama checks on Sagar's well-being, and he thanks her for always being there, likening her to his mother. Anupama is devastated but assures Sagar she can never be angry with him.

Vanraj files a complaint against Sagar, leading the police to arrest him. Anupama pleads with Vanraj to stop the accusations, but Vanraj insists on Sagar's arrest. Anupama and Vanraj argue, and Meenu steps in to defend Sagar, retracting the complaint. Vanraj tries to control Meenu, but she proves Sagar's innocence, prompting a warning from the inspector to Vanraj.

Vanraj plots against Anupama:

Sagar thanks Meenu, who apologises to both Anupama and Sagar, praising Anupama for her upbringing. Meenu gives Sagar a prescription, and Anupama worries about Meenu and Vanraj. Meenu plans to cheer up Vanraj through emotional appeal. Anupama expresses gratitude to Meenu for standing up for the truth, and Bala teases Sagar. Anupama feels proud of Meenu for protecting Sagar's reputation and acknowledges Meenu's praise for her upbringing. Anupama asserts her motherhood is unquestionable and hopes for Aadhya's return.

Meenu confronts Vanraj about wrongfully blaming Sagar and supports Sagar. She apologises to Vanraj, who then decides to evict Anupama and the Aasha Bhawan members from the colony and sell the property. Meenu plans to bake a cake for Sagar, who is touched by her gesture. Anupama grows suspicious of Vanraj's motives. Yashdeep assists Anupama in searching for Aadhya.
