Anupamaa: Anupama takes on a new avatar as the 'Dhulai Woman'

In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, intense drama unfolds as Savita’s daughter pleads with her father to save her mother. Instead of helping, the man heartlessly responds, "Let Savita die," and even raises his hand in anger, threatening his own child. Witnessing the scene, Anupama is disturbed by the situation and reflects on how alcohol addiction can ruin lives.

Unable to stay silent, Anupama intervenes and slaps Savita’s husband, taking a firm stand against his abusive behavior. When he demands to know who she is, Anupama introduces herself as a “dhulai woman,” someone who stands up for women facing injustice. She warns him to never raise his hand on his wife again or shout at his daughter. The man, shaken, promises to change his ways and not trouble his family anymore. Still, Anupama later feels uneasy about involving herself in someone else's domestic issues.

Meanwhile, at the Shah house, Moti Baa lashes out at Ansh, accusing him of being responsible for Prarthana’s pregnancy. Gautam adds fuel to the fire by warning that their father might suffer a heart attack if he finds out about Prarthana’s situation. Although he pins the blame on Ansh, Rahi immediately steps in to defend him. Mahi and Pari also voice their support for Ansh.

Khyati, however, holds Anupama responsible for the unrest, claiming that her influence is damaging their happiness, even from afar. Moti Baa regrets visiting the Shah household. Rahi, in a heartfelt plea, urges everyone to believe in Ansh’s integrity, assuring them he would never wrong Prarthana.

Elsewhere, Anupama encounters Jaspreet and Bharti. Seeing her worried, they ask if everything is alright. Anupama explains she was spooked by the darkness. They offer her food, but she declines, saying she already made curd rice. Bharti mentions Jaspreet is treating everyone today and slyly asks how her suspension was revoked. Jaspreet, with a smirk, shares that she had leverage over her boss, which worked in her favor. Bharti calls her sharp-minded, to which Jaspreet proudly says, that in Mumbai, you need brains to survive.

Anupama informs them that she’s working with Manohar now. Meanwhile, Anil reminds Khyati that Mahi is as much Anupama’s daughter as anyone else's. Parag confronts Moti Baa for judging the Shahs without knowing the complete truth. He believes if Prarthana chose to stay with them, it’s because she feels safer and more understood there. He urges everyone to wait until he talks to Prarthana before jumping to conclusions.

Back at the Shah house, Leela confronts Hasmuk about not backing her when she tried to remove Prarthana from the house. She blames Prarthana for Ansh's refusal to marry and insists she leave before Ansh returns. Kinjal tries to intervene and advises Prarthana to wait for Ansh’s arrival. Despite this, Prarthana prepares to leave the house.

Elsewhere, Pakhi spots Mahi and Prem together and becomes alert. She quickly informs Rahi and recalls the past involving Vanraj, Kavya, and Anupama. Pakhi fears history may repeat itself. Rahi, however, assures her that Prem is not like Vanraj and that fate won’t be cruel this time. But Pakhi still feels her life is heading down the same path as Anupama’s.

Later, Anupama feels nostalgic and misses her family deeply. Savita approaches her, asking for water to be fetched. Some neighborhood women gossip about an incident where someone hit Savita’s husband the previous night. Anupama is taken aback. Jaspreet chimes in, saying someone seems to be secretly helping women in distress during the night.
