Anupamaa: Anupama faces backlash from chawl men for encouraging their wives to dance

Star Plus' Anupamaa has taken a dramatic turn following Aryan's tragic death, which led Anupama to leave everything behind and start afresh in Mumbai. Now living in a modest chawl with Jaspreet and Bharti, Anupama's life is filled with new struggles and emotional challenges. After a leap of eight months, the story introduces new conflicts, including her tense encounter with Rahi and Prem. In the current track, Anupama faces a fresh crisis when Bharti meets with a serious accident, leaving her in urgent need of surgery. With no funds in hand, Anupama decides to participate in the upcoming Taal Se Taal dance competition and begins forming her team, determined to fight back once again.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Anupama keeps her word to Jaspreet and visits Manohar, hoping he would train them for the upcoming dance competition. At his place, Anupama opens up about the challenges she's facing and sincerely requests his help in teaching them dance. However, Manohar refuses to support her, leaving Anupama heartbroken. She returns home feeling defeated. Jaspreet notices her disappointment and asks if Manohar agreed to help, to which Anupama replies that he didn't. Jaspreet then asks what their next step will be, and Anupama says they have no choice but to find a way to arrange the money.

As they talk, loud knocking is heard at the door. Jaspreet opens it and is shocked to see several men from the chawl gathered outside. One of the men accuses Anupama of putting the idea in their wives’ minds that they can do anything and everything except fulfilling responsibilities like looking after their husband, children, and household. Anupama tries to explain that if their wives succeed and earn a name for themselves, it will bring pride to their families. But the men are not convinced. They say they don't want such pride and insist their wives should stick to their usual roles. They firmly state they will not allow their wives to take part in such activities, leaving Anupama stunned by their harsh stand.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, Rahi expresses her worries to Prem about the upcoming competition. With only two girls in her team and no new admissions, she feels overwhelmed and helpless. She says not even phone inquiries are coming in. But in reality, calls are being made to join the dance academy. However, Khayti misleads the callers by telling them they've reached the Kothari mansion and not any dance school, and tells them not to call again.
