Anupamaa: Anupama breaks down as Anuj tries to engage with her

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Shruti (Sukirti Kandpal) hands Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) a wedding contract, assigning her the tasks of decoration and catering. Anupama extends her congratulations to Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Shruti, prompting Anuj to express his gratitude. Anupama hopes for enduring relationships while Anuj sits stunned. Shruti receives a call and embraces Anuj in front of Anupama, leaving her teary-eyed. Aadhya considers pre-ponding the wedding to spare Anupama's feelings.

Anuj seeks to speak with Anupama, but she refuses, stating he has moved on and she's attempting to do the same. Anuj insists they need to communicate, but Anupama asserts there's nothing to discuss, citing their workplace as a boundary. Yashdeep intervenes, preventing Anuj from disturbing Anupama further. Anupama breaks down as Anuj tries to engage with her, but she ignores him, prompting him to leave.

Yashdeep checks on Anupama's well-being as she continues working in the kitchen. Anuj reflects on their encounter, feeling that fate didn't reunite them without reason and expressing a desperate need for conversation with Anupama. Pakhi consults her lawyer about filing a false case against Adhik, while Leela and Vanraj attempt to dissuade her from such actions. Adhik discovers Pakhi's intentions and contemplates his own desires.

Anupama resolves not to become entangled in relationships again and prepares to leave. Yashdeep questions her motives, wondering if she's avoiding Anuj. Aadhya is shocked by Shruti's decision to give Anupama a wedding contract, and Shruti commends Yashdeep for handling the situation well. Yashdeep queries Anupama about her relationship with Anuj, to which she explains she distanced herself to avoid hurting him and believes he's happier now.

Aadhya confronts Anuj about breaking his promise and meeting Anupama. In the conversation, Anuj discovers Aadhya's role in Anupama's departure. She reveals the day she went to the restaurant, asking Anupama to stay away from her and Anuj. Her resentment towards Anupama takes him aback. Anupama assures them that Shruti will keep Anuj happy, prompting Yashdeep to question why she's fleeing.
