Anupamaa 22nd September 2023 written update: Anuj rejects Malti Devi as his mother

Tonight's episode of "Anupamaa" starts off with Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) telling Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) about how she wanted to tell him about the photo but was not able to, which may be because God wanted Anuj to know the truth on this special day. She recited the story of how the photo unintentionally tagged along with her while she was going to an orphanage. She explains how the photo ended up in front of Sushma, who confirmed that the person in the picture was Anuj. Anupama provides evidence, including Anuj's birth certificate, a certificate with Malti Devi's name, and a donation receipt to an orphanage.

Anuj refuses to accept Malti Devi:
