Anup Jalota kept in Isolation for Coronavirus Scare: Spokesperson Releases an Official Statement

Veteran devotional singer, Anup Jalota who had been for his Europe tour returned to India this morning and soon after landing he was taken to a Mumbai hotel as a preventive measure. The 66-year-old singer, was on his singing tour which included various parts in Germany and UK and as a part of the protocol, after he arrived in Mumbai he was taken to a suburban hospital in Andheri.

When contacted, Anup's spokesperson said, "Anupji hasn’t gone for corona virus test. He is alright. He is in isolation for two days due to formalities, because he has just arrived from Europe tour including UK and Germany."

Giving an update about his health, Anup took to his social media account and posted a picture of himself from his ward and wrote alongside:

I am in awe with the Medical Care offered by BMC for passengers who are 60+. I was taken to Hotel Mirage as I landed in Mumbai from London; a team of doctors was sent to attend me. I appeal each passenger landing here to cooperate and help in controlling the further spread of COVID19in India.
