Anuj's surprise bounces back

Anuj Sachdeva aka Amrit of Star Plus' Sabki Ladli Bebo was all gung-ho when he got an off to meet his parents on their wedding anniversary. However, his plans of surprising them didn't exactly work out the way he wanted it to be.

Says Anuj, "When I got an off I happily hopped on to the flight and took off to Delhi. I thought I'll surprise my parents by landing at my doorstep without giving them prior information. I thought I'll sneak up on them to wish 'happy wedding anniversary'. However, when I reached my place I found that my parents had gone out and I didn't have any spare keys. So I had to sit beside the front-door till they came."

But what followed was worth Anuj's wait. Anuj tells us, "My mom got shocked to see me. She started crying and then hugged me. Then the first thing she did was to arrange for my food. Since then I've been getting an overdose of food (laughs). But home-cooked food is something special. There's nothing like it. So I'm enjoying it all!"

For Anuj, the short trip was worth it. He is content with the low-key celebration of his parents' wedding anniversary. "The celebration was sweet and nice. I am glad I got to be here with my parents on their special day," he signs off.
