Bollywood Singer and Composer Anu Malik, who was one of the decorated judges on Sony TV's Indian Idol ever since its inception in 2004.
However, following several allegations of 'sexual misconduct', Anu has been removed from the show.

The channel decided to remove Anu Malik and released an official statement that read, "Anu Mallik is no longer a part of the Indian Idol jury panel. The show will continue its planned schedule and we will invite some of the biggest names in Indian music as guests to join Vishal and Neha to judge the extraordinary talent of Indian Idol season 10."

When a newspaper contacted the singer, Anu had a different tale to tell.

He said that the decision to step down was his and that he had asked the channel for a break, as he was not in the state of mind to work'.

He also vehemently refuted the allegations placed on him and refused to clarify, stating that he will take legal action on all the women who have accused him of sexually harassing them.
