Ankita & Vicky's reception in Raipur cancelled due to COVID-19 protocol

With weddings coming on one after the other, two of the most high-profiled one took place recently - from the Bollywood side, it was that of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif and on the small screen side, it was that of Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain.

While, pretty much all the functions were done, there was one reception scheduled to be held in Jain's native city of Raipur. However, Lokhande and Jain's wedding reception in Raipur has been called off owing to COVID protocols. As per reports, the reception will be held some time later, and the couple wants to adhere to the new guidelines issued due to the rise in COVID cases.

Earlier in the day, Lokhande and Jain were spotted in the city and the couple beamed with joy as they posed for the cameras. The couple held three days of festivities before tying the knot on December 14 at a grand hotel in Mumbai. The wedding was preceded by mehendi, sangeet, engagement, haldi and a cocktail party. The ceremonies were attended by the who's who of the industry. For now, the couple has put their honeymoon plans on hold.

Before getting married, the duo dated each other for three years.
