Ace singer and composer Ankit Tiwari who is known for his songs Teri Galliyan and Boond Boond from Bollywood movies is all geared up for his single Tere Do Naina. Produced by sonic Music Company, Ankit has sung the beautiful romantic track and it is composed by Gourov and Roshin. Actors Aparshakti Khurana and Akanksha Ranjan have acted in the music video which has been shot in picturesque locations of Lucknow.
In a candid chat with India Forums, Ankit shared with us the experience of making and shooting for the song.
The response has been amazing for the song and over 11 million hits already, so how overwhelming is that?
It feels so good to get this kind of response. It’s all because of my fans who constantly support me and love me. I read the comments and they are all positive and it makes me really happy as an artist.
It’s a monsoon love song, so tell us any fun memory of rains you have that you also tried to incorporate in the song.
I love rains and rainy season is the season of romance. I’m a romantic person myself and rains just set the mood for romance. A lot of love songs have been made on the season and Tere Do Naina makes for a perfect song that you would want to hear sipping coffee on a romantic rainy afternoon.
You became a dad recently, how's the feeling?
Yes, I recently became a dad of a baby girl. The feeling is amazing and unmatchable. Now I feel more responsible and sincere and it's a great feeling.
Speaking about the experience, music composer Gourov shared, “The experience has really been very unique and fresh and as a matter of fact it is very fulfilling because this composition is something very close to our heart. It’s been a blast working with Sony.” Gourov and Roshin the composers of the song are from heavy metal and pop background, so speaking about the shift from pop to Bollywood Gourov said, “It’s not really a shift actually. This was something incidental and we were just lucky that we did this collaboration with Sony.”
