Ankeeta Bharrgava in Fauji 2...

Red Chillies Idiot Box' Fauji 2 that will launch on COLORS is proving to be one of the eagerly anticipated launches of the coming year!!

Telly Buzz was the first to inform its readers that Pulkit Samrat will be making a comeback thro' the show, and will be seen essaying the role of Abhimanyu Singh. We had also reported that Renuka Shahane and Shahrukh Khan will be playing Pulkit's parents.

The show will begin with the college scenario wherein Abhimanyu Singh aka Pulkit Samrat studies. He has a gang of friends for which actors from Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods have been finalized. We had also reported that Roopal Tyagi of Zee show Vivaah fame will play the parallel lead.

According to our source, "Ankeeta Bharrgava who was last seen essaying the role of Khushboo in COLORS' Jeevan Saathi has been finalized to play one of the college mates of Abhimanyu. Ankeeta plays Ekta, who is an aspiring journalist".

It is heard that her character is etched on the lines of Barkha Dutt, the famous Indian TV journalist and columnist. "The character played by Ankeeta will provide the ultimate link between the show Fauji 2 and the media, common man", informs our source.

When contacted, Ankeeta Bharrgava accepted to being part of the show, but refused to comment.

We tried calling Bhavna Sresth, Creative Head, Red Chillies, but she remained unavailable.

Fauji 2 is tipped to be a biweekly which will air during weekends.
