Anju Mahendroo in Star Plus' 'Mariam Khan- Reporting Live'

As we reported already, Star Plus show Mariam Khan - Reporting Live will soon take a leap. Since then, the show has been creating a buzz for multiple reasons, from the lead cast leaving the show to rumours about the show going off air.

Though the show has not been doing well in the TRP race but it's not going off air anytime soon as cleared by producer Majid Khan.

According to reports, the makers have roped in talented actress Anju Mahendroo for playing an important character post leap.  She will esayyy the role of Mariam's caretaker and they'll be shown sharing a good bond on-screen.

Anju Mahendroo has been in the industry since long and has worked in many bollywood movies and Television shows as well.

Viewers won't get to watch lead actors Avinash Mishra, Paras Kalnawat, and Priyanka Kandwal post leap as they don't want to play aged characters. Also, young actress Mahima Makwana from Rishon Ka Chakravyuh has been approached for playing the role of grown up Mariam.
