Despite being recognized for showcasing the diverse and picturesque facets of Kolkata in his previous works, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury explained that Kadak Singh demanded a different lens. When asked as to why doesn’t see much of Kolkata in the film even though the film is based in Kolkata, the director answered, “It’s confined in a room and it’s coming from a different perspective. I am talking about certain elements, so it must come through my eyes whatever I have seen. This is very objective. The subjects are there I can’t go and show Kolkata unnecessarily.

He added, "Everything is a perspective of the character, of the hotel, of the incident. This is very incidental, and we are only talking about the incidents. In that I just can’t show else it will become loose. The perspective is what I have portrayed and shown in the movie. This is a very mathematical film, and I can’t give anything extra."

In crafting Kadak Singh, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's deliberate approach to the film's setting reflects a dedication to authenticity and storytelling precision. While his previous works have celebrated the vibrant tapestry of Kolkata, Kadak Singh's confined narrative space underscores the director's versatility in adapting his visual language to suit the unique demands of each project, reinforcing the film's status as a thoughtfully crafted and impactful cinematic experience.
