Anand Suryavanshi to enter Grahasti...

Anand Suryavanshi is back to television with a plum role, after his cameo in Ekta's Kya Dill Mein Hai!! The actor who was earlier seen in Zee's Mamta, will get to be the 'pillar of support' for the family in Grahasti, as he enters the Star Plus afternoon saga. The Telly Buzz team talks to the actor about his latest show…

“I am playing one of the lead guys here, Rishi, who’s paired opposite the eldest daughter of the house, Simar”, states Anand. He further states, “Unlike the role in Mamta, where I was a business tycoon, my character here is quite simple. I play a boy next door, who hails form a normal middle class family, who eventually becomes the back bone to Balraj’s family. Balraj feels that Rishi is the only one who can carry forward the responsibilities of his daughters. As the serial is poised to see some major twists, Rishi will soon be the guy who will take care of the entire family.”

Adding on to the story line Anand states, “Though I cannot reveal much right now, the whole track with Rishi and Simar will go thro' a series of events which will surely attract the audience.” From Akshay in Mamta to Rishi in Grahasti, how has the journey been? "Well, it's been one roller coaster ride..." says Anand with a smile.

When asked about the show and the production house, the actor exclaims, “It’s a story with a difference, and that’s the show’s USP. The production house is great, and we all simply have a rocking time shooting here. Everyone’s on their toes and helping each other out whenever needed…” Anand ends by saying, “My entry is due next week, and am truly looking forward to the new venture…”
