Amruta Khanvilkar BAGS Karan Johar's 'Raazi'!

Actress Amruta Khanvilkar is unquestionably a powerhouse of talent. The actress, who is an established name in the Marathi film industry has also done quality Hindi television shows.

Not only that, Amruta has explored her skills beyond the fiction space where she not only participated but also won the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 7 (Star Plus) and also experimented into the comedy space withComedy Nights Bachao (Colors).She was last seen on television in 24 season 2 (Colors).

While Amruta has done a few Hindi films as well along with her Marathi ones, the actress has now bagged Karan Johar's next - Raazi, starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles.

Raazi is based on Harinder Sikka's novel, Calling Sehmat, a story of how a Kashmiri woman (Alia Bhatt) married a Pakistani army officer (Vicky Kaushal)so that she could provide her nation with valuable information during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.

Amruta's character is said to be a prominent one, but unfortunately, her role has been kept guarded.
