Amrita Rao admits being pampered by RJ Anmol; says “he reads a chapters from the Bhagavad Gita to baby and me every night!”

Actor Amrita Rao confirmed her first pregnancy post-public spotting recently. It took no time for the fans to get excited over the good news. In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, she spoke about her pregnancy and said that the fact she is about to become a mother still hasn’t sunk in. She also said, “It’s like reliving our childhood.”

The Vivah actress spilled the beans about her journey to become a mother soon and prioritizing her mental health above all. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Amrita Rao revealed that it was Anmol who got to see the report first and broke the news of the pregnancy to her.

Amrita had the cutest revelations about Anmol and admitted that he has been pampering her a lot. She said, “Even the baby realizes it and is not very demanding. There are no special cravings, I eat whatever I want and the baby seems to be happy with it.”

She also informed Mumbai Mirror that Anmol is working from home and that they are spending a lot of quality time together. “Anmol reads a chapter from the Bhagavad Gita to baby and me every night,” she reveals.

The 34-year-old actress also mentioned that since they’re both are retro fans they’ve found their perfect song, 'Jeevan Ki Bagiya Mehkegi', with one line in particular, “Thoda Hamara, Thoda Tumhara, Aayega Firse Bachpan Hamara” encapsulating what they’re feeling at this phase.

When quizzed about their plans to take their family forward in 2020 she maintained, “One can’t plan these things, they just happen.”

Amrita opened up about the sign from the universe to extend their own family, she said, “It was our first live video together and a random request,” she points out, saying they haven’t zeroed in on any names for their child yet.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress revealed that she is committed to two projects during the lockdown, but they’ve been delayed. “I guess the timing worked in my favor. The work will continue, when and how, we will figure,” she added. 

For the unversed, Amrita and RJ Anmol tied the knot in 2016, after dating for seven years.
