Renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan remains unperturbed following a recent incident where he was fined by the Mumbai Police for riding on a bike without wearing a helmet. Instead of dwelling on the matter, Bachchan took a playful approach by sharing a photograph on social media, humorously claiming that he had hitched a ride from a stranger.
However, he later revealed that the incident was part of a film shoot. In his latest jest, he shared a picture of himself alongside a police jeep, wearing a disappointed expression and captioned it as "Arrested." While his fans understood the joke, they couldn't help but admire his swag and even referenced his famous dialogue from the movie "Don."
Fans were delighted to see Bachchan's sense of humor shine through as he interacted with them. One fan commented, "Highly unlikely! But your swag is unquestionably outstanding!" Another fan quoted his iconic dialogue, saying, "Don... Don... Don... Don ka intezar toh 11 mulkon ki police kar rahi hai! Lekin Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, namumkin hai!" Some fans playfully remarked, "Aakhirkar Don ko Mumbai Police ne pakad liya"
To clarify any misunderstandings, Bachchan took to his blog, where he emphasized that the bike picture was captured during an on-location shoot in Mumbai. He clarified that necessary permissions were obtained to shoot in a specific lane in Ballard Estate on a Sunday when offices were closed and there was no public or traffic. Bachchan assured his readers that the outfit he wore in the picture was part of his film costume and that he was merely fooling around on a crew member's bike, not actually going anywhere.
At present, Amitabh Bachchan is busy filming "Section 84," directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
