Amitabh Bachchan recieves Dadasaheb Phalke Award from Honorable President Ram Nath Kovind

There is no accomplishment which this man, the legend, Amitabh Bachchan hasn't achieved. He has been an awardee of many prestigious awards throughout decades in the film industry and now once again he has been bestowed upon with an honor unmatched and impeccable. 

Amitabh Bachchan has been conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest film honour - for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema, in New Delhi, this evening. President Ram Nath Kovind presented the prestigious award to him and with a gracious smile, like always, he accepted the honor. 

For the ceremony Sr. Bachchan was present in Delhi along with his wife Jaya Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan. Way back in September when his award was announced, Union minister Prakash Javadekar wrote on his Twitter handle,"The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for Dadasahab Phalke Award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest Congratulations to him."
