Amitabh Bachchan feels nostalgic as Kaala Patthar turns 42, remembers experiences of working in 'coal mines'

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan needs no introduction. The 78-year-old actor boasts a massive fan-following across all the age groups and many admire him for his long years of experience and work ethics. Big B has come a really long way and ever since his debut he has always managed to grab the audience's attention. His film Kaala Patthar (1979) clocked 78-years today, and the actor marked the occasion with a special post, remembering his life before his acting debut.

Taking to his social media handle, the Sholay actor penned a heartfelt note as he shared the pictures from his film, Kaala Patthar. He also revealed his first job before joining the industry as he wrote, ''42 years of KALA PATTHAR .. !!! phew !!! Been a while .. and so many incidents in the film from my personal experiences when I worked in the Coal Dept of my Calcutta Company , my first job before joining the movies .. actually working in the Coal mines in Dhanbad and Asansol .."

Shortly after the Big B shared the social media post, fans showered him with praises and expressed their love for the actor and his film.

Recently, Amitabh's ‘Goodbye’ co-star Rashmika Mandanna piqued the audiences’ interest as she shared a picture from the upcoming film which also featured Big B's new look. The first look of the megastar from the film sets went viral on social media. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ - co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy. 

He is also a part of Nag Ashwin’s untitled next starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. He also stars in Nagraj Manjule of ‘Sairat’ fame’s Bollywood debut film, ‘Jhund’. 

He also has Rumy Jafry’s ‘Chehre’ co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Rhea Chakraborty in the pipeline.
