Amit Jain returns with Papad Pol..

Amit Jain who was last seen in Miley Jab Hum Tum returns to television after a brief hiatus with SAB TV's Papad Pol - Shahbuddin Rathod ki Rangeen Duniya . He will essay the role of Rohan, a fun loving guy who gets back from London. He happens to be the owner of the resort in which Vinay (Swapnil Joshi) and his family are having a holiday..

We hear that Rohan and Kokila (Ami Trivedi) happen to be the best of childhood friends, and she is in fact excited over the prospect of meeting her buddy.

When contacted, Amit Jain confirmed the news to TellyBuzz, "Yes, it is fun to do a full-on comedy track. I play Rohan who is fun loving, adventurous with a liking for sports. He is the owner of the resort, and my scenes are mostly with Vinay and Kokila".

Amit Jain had been away from television for nearly a year. Talking on what kept his busy, he says, "I was doing a course on Film making and Direction at Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods. I simply enjoyed the experience".

If sources are to be believed, the talk of Papad Pol ending has been stalled for now, and the show will be moved to the time slot of 7.30 Pm, while Ammaji ki Gali which presently airs at the 7.30 pm slot will be further moved to the 7 Pm slot. For the uninitiated, the Rajesh Kumar and Divyanka Tripathi show Chintu Chinky Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story will take up the 8:30 P.M Slot from 22nd of August.
