Amazon's mega show, 'Carnival Row' releases the first look & teaser

The Orlando Bloom-Cara Delevingne starrer has been in the works for a while now...

Amazon Prime Video is certainly leaving no stone unturned to get in 'prime' contention with Netflix when it comes to presenting mega shows - both in terms of scale and resources. While the much-talked-about LOTR (Lord Of The Rings) series continues to move ahead one step after the other, the streaming platform recently introduced the teaser and first look of another mega show, Carnival Row.

Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in Carnival Row, a series set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man. This growing population struggles to coexist with humans — forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom), and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society. Vignette harbors a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet: a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.

Obviously, the first teaser doesn't give away too much except for a glimpse of Bloom and Delevigne's characters in their looks, which is from the Victorian era. The series is touted to fill in the void left by Game Of Thrones in the fantasy genre but can also be a debacle of sorts like Bright.

Let's wait and see where will it stand ultimately-
