Amazon Prime Shares First Looks of Breathe 2, Inside Edge 2 and Bevy of Other Originals!

On the occasion of Prime Day, Amazon Prime India unveiled some first glimpses of its much-awaited original series’ including Breathe 2, Inside Edge 2, The Forgotten Army, Bandish Bandits and The Family Man. 

Breathe 2

Amazon Prime’s second Indian original series, Breathe has been renewed for a second season. While the first season witnessed the marvellous performance by R. Madhavan, the much-awaited second season will see Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Retaining Amit Sadh’s character, this season has welcomed Nithya Menen and Saiyami Kher on-board. The first edition was a psychological thriller, revolving around two ordinary men facing extraordinary circumstances to save their loved ones.

Inside Edge 2

Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadda starrer Inside Edge is Amazon Prime’s first Indian original series which was a huge hit and was critically acclaimed for its strong storyline and performances. It has also been nominated in the Drama Series category at The International Emmy Awards. The story centred around the cricket and the politics surrounding it. The 10 episodes long series, brought into light various issues like abuse of money and power, darker side of cricket, entertainment and politics.

The Forgotten Army

The Forgotten Army is a new web series which will also mark the digital debut of Bollywood Director Kabir Khan. The series is based on true events of pre-independence era. It will present the story of men and women who fought by the side of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the Indian National Army.

Bandish Bandits

Bandish Bandits is a musical drama which will depict the romantic journey of a couple, who in spite of coming from two different worlds, will choose to go on a journey of self discovery to see if opposite attracts and if yes, how far does it go.

The Family Man

Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man is a story of an Indian Spy, who is on a mission to protect his country from terrorists while also protecting his own family from the demons of his job and terrorism. The series set in the beautiful valleys of Kashmir will see Bajpayee in a never seen before look.
