Amar excited to be part of Zee's Maa...

Amarr Upadhyay who is back to television with Zee's Maa and NDTV Imagine's Chand Ke Paar Chalo feels that the entire wait is worth it.

According to him, "Maa, produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms has all the ingredients to be the #1 show on Television. It has a great concept with the right mix of action and emotion, and the effect of watching this show is similar to watching a film".

Amarr plays a very important cameo in the show. "Shekar is the perfect father and husband. In other words, he is a very responsible family man. My character is the back bone of the show, and I play a cameo role which will leave an impact on the mind of people", quips the actor.

However, Shekar has to go thro' all the trials possible, as there are many attempts being made to kill him. "I try my best o keep my family out of danger even when I know I am being hunted by many", adds Amarr.

Well, we really wish that a unique concept like 'Maa' appeals to the audience big time!!
