Alisha Parveen's alleged replacement from Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa took fans of the show by storm. While many theories circulated around the actress' exit, Alisha had exclusively revealed to India Forums how 'performance issues' were cited before ousting her from the show.

India Forums recently got in touch with Romesh Kalra, the director of both Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. We asked him about Alisha Parveen's controversial replacement from Anupamaa and how, she claimed, that her directors always 'praised' her performance, yet, when she was ousted, she was said it happened because of her 'performance' in the show. Reacting to the same, Romesh says, ''What is better for the show, we tried to do that. Kuch cheezein thi, chemistry thi, jo the creative team thi ke acha we want to go a little better and kuch cheezein aur behtar ho sakti hai phir uss hisab se sab creatives ne mil kar ye decision liya hai. I wish her all the best, again I will say that she is a good actress aisa nahi hai ke koi problem hai.''

For the uninformed, Adrija Roy has replaced Alisha Parveen as the new Raahi in Anupamaa. Speaking to us about watching the actress' performance and her feedback on the actress being replaced because of the same, Adrija had earlier said, ''I do not want to comment on that because that is not my thing. I am no one to judge this. Ye channel ka call hai. Mera ye hai ke main apne kaam se matlab rakhna chahti hoon and wahi main kar rahi hoon, I want to give 100 percent to my work.''
