Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar & others laud team 'RRR' as they bring the Golden Globes home

What could have been a better start for a midweek morning than the news of team ‘RRR’ creating a history as they bagged the prestigious Golden Globe award this year. The magnum opus won Best Song - Motion Picture honour for ‘Naatu Naatu’  emerging as the first Asian song to own this award. For the unversed, the film's Telugu track 'Naatu Naatu', composed by veteran music director MM Keeravaani and penned by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. 

Well the celebrations of the big win has already begun and congratulatory messages have started pouring in for the much deserved.

New mommy Alia Bhatt who was a part of the team RRR celebrated the good news as she took to her social media account and expressed her happiness in a bundle of red heart emoji. The actress shared a video of the team's winning moment on her Instagram story.

Lauding the team for its historic win, musician AR Rahman had tweeted, “Incredible ..Paradigm shift. Congrats Keeravani Garu 💜from all Indians and your fans! Congrats @ssrajamouli Garu and the whole RRR team!”

Not only this fimmaker Karan Johar too rejoiced the win and took to his Instagram story as he wrote, "Absolutely thrilled and filled with pride as #NaatuNaatu from #RRR brings home a prestigious #GoldenGlobes Award!!! Congratulations to the whole team, this is incredible for the entirety of Indian cinema!"

While Bebo too took to her Instagram stories and shared the historic win video while she wrote, "Congratualtions, Team RRR!!" along with clap and heart eyed emojis.

Speaking about a possible sequel to ‘RRR’, director Rajamouli had told Variety on the red carpet, that they are working on a idea and the writing is in process and until the script inst done they cant take it forward.

Well we just cannot contain the happiness of the big win and also can't keep calm until any further announcement of the sequel.
